As the 2024-2025 NFL season approaches, the Chicago Bears are generating significant buzz across the league. Shout out Ryan Poles Bears General Manager building through the draft on his mission to TAKEOVER the NFC North and never give it back. With an offseason marked by strategic moves and a focus on bolstering their defense, coupled with the drafting of a potential superstar, the Bears are poised to make a splash. Expectations are high, with national networks placing them under the spotlight as a team to watch this year.
The Bears defense, historically known for its grit and tenacity, is back revamped and modernized with an elite secondary leading by Jaylon JOhnson coming off an all pro season pro bowl season motivated by being snubbed in the top 100 players by his peers he will be our lock down CB1 aka JJ island. Next is CB2 Tyrique Stevenson a 2nd year player to keep an eye out . #29 started off on a rough patch getting coached by Coach Hoke but have bounced back magnificently and has took the coaching in a little banged up this training camp but you always see the jump from rookie years to year 2 player so i have confidence in 2-9 that he will be back better then ever. Next we have Spiderman himself Kyler Gordon. #6 he is a starting Nickel Cb aka SCB in my honest opinion i think he has the potential to be a superstar in this league he can do a little bit of everything . This will be year 3 for him he has been battling injuries as well. He played on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals in the #rd pre season game. He played very good and flashed all across the tv screen. I personally just would like to see him play in all the games this year. Next we have Jaquan Brisker #9 the kid has all the potential in the world im truly a fan. He is low key reckless and stays injured. Me personally I like the recklessness, taking the other players head off very physical and still growing into his body. Brisker was drafted in the same draft as Kyler Gordon. They have both shown alot of growth and im excited to see how they play this year on the football field. Kevin Byard is the next player who also is probably the most slept on player we signed in free agency. This man has 21 career ints former all pro free safety. He is replacing Eddie Jackson who was very good for us but always was injured. Byard seems like a upgrade tackler at the position as well. I can Go on and on seriously, Tremaine Edmunds, TJ Edwards, Gervon Dexter. Look out for a kid making noise his name is Austin Booker, rookie out of Kansas edge rush defensive end to play on the other side of Montez Sweat. Sweat who is the best defensive player the Chicago bears have on the entire roster. 100 million dollar man signed the extension with the Bears when he was traded in the middle of last season. Led the team is sacks even after he was traded mid season. The Bears front Office prioritized versatility and depth, ensuring that this defense can adapt to various offensive schemes while maintaining its aggressive identity.
