Willy Contreras The Face of the Chicago Cubs The Face and The Heart. After not being traded by the trade deadline. Especially after last season traded a lot of heavy hitters like Rizzo, Bryant, Baez, the cubs kept Contreras. Arguably having his best season. The # time all star with a depleted roster has took young talent under his wing, and is stepping up to the leader role those are things you look for your leaders to do without you telling them. Even-though the Cubs will not be contending this year the rebuild has begun. With Contreras wining his arbitration I am looking to see him get extended I honestly do not know why this wouldn't get done. He has shown time and time again why he should be he for the long run.
