Robert Quinn / Player Profile

Robert Quinn is coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Chicago Bears. Just one year ago Quinn was dealing with a lot of criticism from the Chicago fan base, signing a 40 million contract to come play next to Khalil Mack the thought was the both of them would create havoc for any QB that the Bears would face. Unfortunately Mack would miss some games and Quinn only put up 2 sacks. He definitely bounced back year 2 with a record setting 18.5 sacks last year. Now with a new coaching staff the defense is going back to the 4-3 scheme with four lineman and three linebackers, Quinn now goes standing up with you hand in the ground. Quinn has stated in the past he has now played both but feels very comfortable as a defensive end. I believe he will play a big role for the defense this year and also be a captain as one of the older statesman that's on this predominantly young roster. Earlier this off season there was chatter that Quinn requested a trade, he later came out and said he would love to stay here in Chicago.
